Midpoint Refelection

There is a huge difference between the environment of internship place and in school. The internship place is so quite as compared to school, both places are the study centers, but library looks like a home of books too many varieties of book almost in every language, they have a lot of programs eg. arts and craft, ESL classes, chess club, movie/story classes and etc. In school our teachers teach us but in library we have to do our own we have to study independently. Library and school have their own rules for example in library we have to keep decipline but in school its different.
I have good relations with my mentor and with other staf. Its a great opertunity for me to work with them now i have an experince like how i have to do work. My relation is good with them and they all appreciate me and my work.
The skills that i gained from my internship is the confidence that how i have to do work and experince of a future life. I think my english is better now because in library i have to talk with different peoples who speak soo differently and high english and now i get them like what they saying so its really help me to improve my english.
The challenges that i have are the projects of library Ihave to learn different type of things in arts to the little kids, so it is challenging because I have to see like what they can make easily i collect all the stuf for them and be ready before the class.
It is little hard to do work and continue your studies to because sometimes I get tired and don't want to anything, but i do,sometimes I do my little homework in break on my internship and sometimes I do it late night. So i don't get behind in school studies.
In the next six remaining weeks of internship i have to make my name in the library i have to learn english and increase my confidence.
As being out and about in New York City i learned that everyone is fighting for their career. They don't make too many connections with other peoples they like to work by their ownselfs.

  1. Thanks Sidra for updating your blog with this post. I'm glad you are growing more confident in your English. Based on my interactions with you on Thursdays, you seem to both speak and comprehend English quite well.

Also, in terms of skills you're gaining this semester, I would make sure you include blogging as a skill. You have done excellent work on your blog and made great additions to the class blog through the assignments I gave you last week. I love how you created the new "gadgets".
